Rotary Joint for Steel Ladle Turrets – Multi-Circuit
Independent oil, water and gas circuits for continuous-caster ladle turrets
Overview
The ladle turret is the rotating platform that moves a fully charged ladle between the metallurgy station and the casting position on a continuous caster. Ruitus developed this rotary joint specifically for that duty: each oil, water and gas circuit is routed independently, so multiple media can cross the rotating interface without mixing. Imported sealing components and friction surfaces that are honed, lapped and carbonitride-hardened deliver strong sealing and wear resistance for a long service life. Depending on the turret configuration, the slip ring is supplied with anything from a few circuits up to more than twenty, and Ruitus can design and manufacture variants to match your specific equipment.
