RTO Rotary Joint for CFB Boiler Slag Cooling Systems
Purpose-built for high-pressure condensate cooling in large CFB units
Overview
CFB boiler slag cooling systems use circulating water below 1.8 MPa or high-pressure condensate from heat recovery systems at 2.5–4.0 MPa with much higher flow demand. The RTO rotary joint was developed specifically for this condensate duty, rated at 5.0 MPa and 100°C with DN100-65 to DN200-125 bores, and has proven stable and long-lived across CFB power plants.
Key Features
- Rated 5.0 MPa for high-pressure condensate circuits
- Large bores DN100-65 to DN200-125 for high flow capacity
- Speed range 20–30 rpm matched to slag cooler duty
- Proven long service life in CFB power plant operation
