RT-GY Series — Rotary Joint for Hydraulic Applications

Multi-passage hydraulic power transmission up to 100 MPa

Overview

The RT-GY series is a hydraulic rotary joint built to transmit hydraulic oil or compressed air from a stationary line into rotating equipment — the heart of any machine that must swing, coil or index while holding hydraulic pressure. Typical homes: center swivel joints on construction machinery, sheet metal coilers/uncoilers and CNC hydraulic chucks.

Its defining feature is multi-passage independence: several circuits pass through one rotating interface, each fully isolated — hydraulic oil on one path, compressed air or coolant on another. Rated up to 100 MPa (35 MPa in standard compact executions) at speeds to 200 rpm and media temperatures to 80 °C, placing it among the highest-pressure families in the Ruitus range.

Because every machine swings differently, RT-GY units are engineered to your drawing: passage count, port size, mounting envelope and sealing materials are all specified to the application. To size one, send the schematic or connection dimensions, media, working pressure, speed and swing angle; for retrofits, a nameplate photo lets us confirm interchangeability within 24 hours.

Custom-built units are quoted individually — expect pricing well below imported equivalents, with standard spare parts shipping in 3–15 days (MOQ 1 unit) and custom builds scheduled per the quotation. Manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 in our 10,000 m² plant and running on excavators, cranes and rolling lines in 70+ countries.

Frequently Asked Questions

1 What pressure can the RT-GY hydraulic rotary joint withstand?
The RT-GY is rated up to 100 MPa — among the highest in the Ruitus range — at speeds up to 200 rpm and medium temperatures to 80 °C. Typical duties include construction machinery center swivels, sheet metal coilers/uncoilers and CNC hydraulic chucks.
2 Can the RT-GY be built with multiple independent passages?
Yes. Multiple passages can be manufactured, each operating independently — for example hydraulic oil on one circuit and compressed air or coolant on another, all through one rotating interface. Units are engineered to your drawing for passage count, port size and mounting, handling hydraulic oil, compressed air, coolant and water.
3 What information is needed to quote a custom RT-GY swivel?
Send the schematic or connection dimensions plus media, working pressure, speed and swing angle, and the passage count you need. For retrofits, a nameplate photo of the old joint lets us confirm interchangeability within 24 hours. We then quote against your drawing — port sizes, mounting envelope and seal materials are all specified to the application.
4 What are the lead time and minimum order for RT-GY?
Standard spare parts ship in 3–15 days after order confirmation, minimum order 1 unit. Custom swivels are scheduled per the quotation — the exact lead time depends on passage count and materials, and is confirmed with the offer. Large-volume orders may need longer.
