RT-DE Series — Rotary Joint for Water/Coolant

Direct interchange with 55-57 series, forged brass housing

Overview

The RT-DE series is a direct alternative to imported 55-57 series rotary joints (DSTI / Deublin class) used on CNC machine tools and high-speed spindles. It keeps the original mounting interface, so replacement is a drop-in swap, and it is available in single-passage and dual-passage designs with self-supported or bearing-supported rotors to match the original configuration.

The sealing system is a balanced mechanical seal with an optional silicon carbide pair for abrasive coolants. The housing is forged brass for strength and heat dissipation, the rotor is stainless steel, and three drain ports give leak water a safe exit path — a small detail that keeps automated lines running clean. Rated 1.6 MPa / 120 °C at speeds up to 5,500 rpm for coolant, hot and cold water, oil, compressed air and low-pressure steam.

Selecting a replacement takes one photo and two dimensions: send the nameplate photo plus mounting and connection dimensions, and we confirm drop-in compatibility within 24 hours. Choose dual-passage when the spindle needs two independent circuits (for example through-spindle coolant plus outer flush); choose bearing-supported rotors for the highest speeds. Standard threads and port sizes cover the common 55-57 range.

Field results back the switch — a Vietnamese packaging plant reorders 3–5 times a year after moving from Deublin 55, and an Indian belt manufacturer has already reordered three times. Standard units ship in 3–15 days with a minimum order of 1 unit, priced as a fraction of the imported original. Send your nameplate photo for a firm quotation.

Customer Cases

Packaging manufacturer, Vietnam

A subsidiary of a major international packaging group in Vietnam replaced its Deublin 55 series joints with Ruitus RT-DE equivalents across its production lines. The switch cut joint costs dramatically with no loss in service life — the plant now reorders 3–5 times per year as standard maintenance stock.

Industrial belt manufacturer, India

A leading Indian industrial-belt manufacturer adopted the same RT-DE replacement joints and has already reordered three times, standardising on Ruitus for its plant maintenance programme.

Frequently Asked Questions

1 Which imported rotary joints can the RT-DE series replace?
The RT-DE is a direct interchange with imported 55-57 series rotary joints (DSTI / Deublin class), in both single-passage and dual-passage designs with self-supported or bearing-supported rotors. Send us a nameplate photo and mounting dimensions and we confirm drop-in compatibility within 24 hours — at a fraction of the imported price.
2 What are the operating limits and seal options of the RT-DE?
Rated 1.6 MPa / 120 °C at speeds up to 5,500 rpm, handling coolant, hot/cold water, oil, compressed air and low-pressure steam. It uses a balanced mechanical seal (silicon carbide option) with a forged brass housing and stainless steel rotor, and offers 3 drain ports for safe leak evacuation.
3 How do I choose between single-passage and dual-passage RT-DE?
Match the original configuration: if the spindle needs two independent circuits — e.g. through-spindle coolant plus external flush — choose dual-passage; for a single coolant circuit, single-passage is enough. If you are unsure, send the nameplate photo and we confirm which version is drop-in compatible within 24 hours.
4 What is the difference between self-supported and bearing-supported rotors?
A self-supported rotor runs on the seal faces and is compact — ideal for standard speeds and easy maintenance. A bearing-supported rotor carries the load on precision bearings, giving smoother rotation at the top end of the speed range (up to 5,500 rpm) and longer seal life under continuous duty. We match whichever type the original joint used.
5 What are the lead time and minimum order quantity for RT-DE?
Standard RT-DE models ship in 3–15 days after order confirmation, with a minimum order of 1 unit — so you can replace one failed joint without stocking up. Large-volume orders may need longer; the exact schedule is confirmed in the quotation. Repeat maintenance orders from packaging and belt plants typically ship on the same terms.
